Girls Build PDX

                                                                                                                                                                 Sarah Heidler, of AWA had the opportunity to spend the day at Girls Build Summer camp.

John Mayer of Greendrop Garage planned and executed the workshop.                              

They checked oil

Super simple.  The girls spend 15 minutes inside one car, 15 minutes on the outside.  One Geo Metro and one Toyota Prius were present to provide two very different cars

We talked about tires, inflation and wear

RUMMAGE RUMMAGE RUMMAGE SALE

Saturday May 7th 2016 was the AWA Annual Plant and Rummage Sale in the parking lot of Hawthorne Auto Clinic

The weather was FANTASTIC this year 

There was lots of really great rummage

We goofed around

We goofed around some more.


We had lots of fun with the neighbors and made some new friends.


The turn out was less this year than last due to the construction on Hawthorne Blvd, but it was fun and we did raise money for scholarships.


Next year we'll do it again- so don't miss it.

 

So, maybe Sarah goofed around the most. (those are mink ear muffs by the way)
